Brenna is an abstract artist living and working in Portland, Oregon.

Her paintings, which feature a delicate balance of thoughtful marks and spontaneous expression, represent a conversation between the artist and the canvas. Brenna is inspired and guided by the process itself, noticing and responding to the interplay of raw canvas, diluted paint pours, evolving techniques, and even weather.  This translates to subtle layers of color and texture, precious accidents, and an ever evolving color palette.

Brenna’s goal is create art that makes people feel deeply and simultaneously serves as the backdrop to everyday life. She hopes her artwork puts a visual to feelings and moments that can’t be summarized by words.
